Most of the time, we are able to provide a very accurate
estimate when you call based on your response to questions that we ask. If we
cannot provide a precise estimate because of unknown factors, we will provide
a best and worst case scenario price. A Friendly Geek will always charge the lower of either the
flat rate or the hourly rate. Payment is required at the completion of
service.

Economy Services
Economy service requires that you drop off and pick up your
computer in Lithia Springs.
Virus, spyware, and other malicious software removal:
$100
(Includes formatting the hard drive, reinstalling windows and installing all
security updates. - This is the only
way to guarantee the removal of all malicious software.)
Data recovery from a
crashed or infected hard drive: Pricing starts at $50
(Free diagnosis and free estimate. If we cannot recover
your data, you pay nothing. This price may be lower if you are paying for other
services such as virus and spyware removal).

Flat Rate Services with Pickup and Redelivery:
Price includes pickup and delivery within normal service
area.

(Includes unpacking and physically setting up one
computer and one peripheral device such as a printer. All security updates
will also be installed).

On-Site Hourly Rates:
First hour: $75 (Includes travel fee for normal service
area)
Each additional quarter hour: $12.50
Phone Support
$12.50 for each quarter hour - The first 5 minutes are
always free.
Many problems can be solved over the phone and/or through a
screen sharing session. This is a great way to save money, gasoline, and time.
Once you call us, we may suggest this option if it is appropriate for your
specific issue. Screen sharing means that a technician will be able to view
and control your computer over the internet. (You must have a high speed
internet connection in order to use screen sharing. A dial-up connection will
not work). The process begins with you downloading a small program and
installing it on your computer. Once the program is installed, the technician
will provide you with the necessary steps for you to initiate a secure
screen sharing session. Please note that installing this program does not
enable the technician or anyone else to access your computer anytime they wish
as every session must be initiated by you.
* Some services may require that we take your computer with us and return it a few
days later. The rates above apply only to our normal service area which
includes portions of Douglas, Paulding, South & West Cobb counties. Service to
other areas may be provided for an additional travel fee.
